Words Fall Short

About

For this year’s Dekunstrukt, the official photography folio of the students of De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, the theme captures moments that speak for themselves. With minimal narratives, each image invites you to pause, feel, and reflect. It values simplicity and presence in a fast-paced world, offering a visual experience that sparks curiosity and emotion through the power of the frame.

In this year’s Dekunstrukt, yield your creativity to the lens and let each shot become a canvas for bold expression and quiet meaning. Look not only at the photo, but beyond the context it dares to hold.

Where and how should I submit my entries?
For submissions, upload your entries to Google Drive using your Benilde mail. Make sure to adjust its sharing settings to “Anyone in this group with this link can edit.”

How many entries am I allowed to submit?
You can submit as many as you want. However, take note that you may only submit up to four (4) photos per entry. A maximum of four (4) photos would only be allowed for a photo series. The caption can either be per entry or per photo in a photo series.
Are there certain technicalities or rules I need to follow?
The photos submitted must be at least 1800px and in jpeg format. There are no restrictions regarding photo ratio.
How long is the caption?
All entries must have a caption. The caption is limited to a total of 7 words and it must be placed in the submissions form. The caption can be whatever you wish and can explain why you chose that certain photo and how you feel it relates to the theme.

If captions will be done per photo, the photos must be labelled with “Photo #.” In the submissions form, it must be shown like this:
